Dinner at Raes last night to celebrate a friend's birthday. A very special experience - ambience, decor, views, great service and the food was really exquisite. Every course including desserts were incredible. Yes it's pricey but as a special treat I can highly recommend! Great job team!

Magnificent dining experience. We were served by the wonderful Brian. So kind of him to bless us with his effortlessness, we were grateful and so strangely comforted. We left almost wondering had he put us under with his renditions and jokes! Calm, collected and commanding. Top marks!

We only stopped and had a drink at Raes, as we were walking by. Both were refreshing. One was much tastier than the other. The view is beautiful, and the food menu looked interesting. Yet after only one of the drinks being tasty, we chose not to dine. At this price point, you expect to be blown away in a good way. Doesn't mean we won't be back one day, menu's can change with time after all!

What a beautiful location for a sneaky cocktail by the beach and some delicious bar food. The beach photos here are literally taken from just outside Rae’s. Amazing location, breathtaking views, deeelicious cocktails and very friendly staff. Highly recommended

Can’t comment on the rooms but had lunch with the wife over the weekend. The parking situation in Wategos is actually a disgrace and then need to sort it out. On to the restaurant and the food, I would say the quality and taste of the food is decent but not worth the price. Not sure how you can charge $6 per slice of sourdough? Kinda ludicrous. Plenty of other options in Byron with a more better price to value ratio.

We stayed elsewhere in Wategos but had coffee every morning from Raes, and dinner on the last night. We had the five course tasting menu which was delicious. The spanner crab and tomato tagliolini were my favourite. Didn’t particularly rate the market fish, but others did so very likely just preference.

Last day in Byron and went to Rae’s for lunch. The quality, taste and presentation of each course were great. There were three of us so we shared dishes so we could all try something different! Highly recommend to order the snacks to start off the meal
